Foraging for Free
The Practice of Stewarding the Environment
Join one of the Anamcara Experience's authors for a day out at Ireland's Organic Centre to learn the joys and mindful practice of foraging for free.
During the day long course on Saturday, 29th August 2009 Bee Smith will acquaint you with edible species that can be brought to the table of bounty, as well as folk remedies that can be used in the garden for pest control. Given that Bee is an enthusiastic cook a recipe demonstration will be planned for the afternoon session.
" I emphasize on learning your local species to honor and preserve the biodiversity in your own neighborhood. Foraging is not about plundering but learning to appreciate the bounty we are offered and preserving and conserving it as a consequence."
Bee Smith will be teaching her Foraging for Free course for the third year running at The Organic Centre in Ireland.
The course, which includes a welcoming cup of organic and fair trade coffee or tea and freshly baked scone and a two-course vegetarian lunch, costs € 95 .
Bee's course does not include mushroom hunting. If Mushroom Hunting is your particular interest you need to attend Tina Pommers and Allan McCluney's course on 6th September. The course costs €90.

Join Diane Roemer for Painting with Watercolours at the Organic Centre for a full weekend of making art over 27the & 28th June, 2009. Roemer allows for workshop attenders to just start painting directly and emotionally.
Flowers lend themselves as models for this sort of experimentation with paint, colour and light and the acreage of gardens at the Organic Centre is the ideal venue to let your inner artist out to play!
Course costs €180 .

The Anam cara (Soul friendship) experience is a journey. It is not a one off experience but the experience of the movement of the Timelessness within time in each and every moment. It is a journey into living a sensational life in a body within time and space while connected to the One Source.
The invitation to a sensational life is through the language of the heart as invoked through song, story, and practice. The Anamcara Experience invites you into threshold places of adventure and wonder. This will be through workshops that empower you with a felt connection to the language and experience of the heart.
These workshops will be centered primarily in Ireland. Workshops and talks presently being developed are focused on the following The Anamcara Experience - Finding Radiance Within This workshop is a first invitation to learning to feel and express radiance through the use of song, poetry, storytelling and practice. There is no requirement for any participant to be a poet, singer or storyteller. This invitation is to unfold the song, the poetry and the unique story that each of us came into form to express. The practices invite you to learn the four steps involved in creating a wonderful and sensational life. This is intended to be a one day workshop with lunch included. The workshop will be held at a place that invites the sacred and a sense of sanctuary.
