Our modern educational system keeps us well informed.  It keeps each of us tied to time.  We rarely if ever feel the joy of the Timeless.  When we do we live a paradox.  We live the time of our lives.

The sea is the sea of unlimited creativity born from the fathomless ocean of the Timeless.  To live from the knowing of this ocean is true intelligence.  This is finding time for the heart in no time at all.

When you plunge into this sea you do, in fact, return.  You are as a hero.  You return with the treasure of knowing who you are.  You know beyond doubt that your heart is the timeless unfathomable movement of Love in form.

This is real learning but it is not more learning about.  It is letting go all those questions that lead you deeper into doubt and false unknowing in order to live the a real question and a real quest.

An Anam cara invites you into knowledge of who you are beyond time and space and form.  These invitations into the beauty of who you are scattered amidst this page.

These invitations come from modern day soul friends such as Guy Finley and Erkhart Tolle.  In the journey into soul friendship, that this ezine invites you into, you will meet with so many more such people.  Each in their own way is singing the Universal Song.

They are not asking you to learn the song by rote.  They are asking that you let go into that song that you have come here to sing.  They are asking you to give time to your heart song.

Finding Time for the Heart in No Time at All

An Anam Cara loves great questions. Such questions are invitations to the quest of soul friendship. This is real education - meaning to unfold or bring out. Great questions invite true education for the soul.  These are not mediocre questions but questions that are keys to revelation – meaning to see who you are and why you are.

 This writer came across one such question this week. It is

 What is a sensitive heart doing in a loveless life?

How would you answer that question? How would such a question take you into a deeper connection to the heart? Would you be willing to find time to ask such a heart question and more than that be prepared to live that question?  Great questions open great possibilities.  One of the best questions this writer has ever been asked is asked by the modern mystic Guy Finley.  This is the question

"Are you prepared to allow love to use you for its own purpose?"

This question by Guy Finley is a real sensitive heart question. The world, as yet, does not live from the heart centre. This is the centre that connects the human and the Divine. Without this connection, life to a large extent, becomes mediocre. It becomes devoid of the flow of radiance. It serves oneself rather than your Self.  In such a situation one is serving time and not living the radiance of life as a servant of the Timeless.

In our e-Course The Anam cara Experience; Ready to Radiate, this writer takes you into a place that we in Ireland call Tir na Nog.  This is the Land of the Forever Young.  This is not some imaginary place created by the Celtic mind. It is a state of being that you radiate into this world of form. It arises in one who allows their sensitive heart to be sensitive to Love and to express this sensitivity as Love in action.

The Land of the Forever Young is known (directly experienced) by those willing to serve the invisible embrace of the Timeless.  These are those who see beyond the limitation of a life identified with form of the body living in time and space.  These are those whose primary identity has moved from living in a body between birth and death to the felt at one ment with the  formless.  They have surrendered to the beauty of that which creates all things but which itself is not created.

 This radiance of the Timeless creates through you.  When you are allowing of this through a sensitive heart then you are in Love.  This is not just a love that lives outside you and that you need in order to feel fulfilled to some extent.  This is the direct felt connection to a wellspring of creativity lovingly expressing as Love in action.  You can leave this wellspring but it never leaves you.

An Anam Cara invites you into this kind of paradoxical living. This is where you live in time but you know that you are the stuff of forever.  Then there is really nothing for you to lose; except that you may try to hold on to the idea that you are separate from this timeless movement of Love in form.  This is the meaning of the biblical phrase, “He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.”

We are all trying to save our lives. We do this through relationship, money, status, fame or any other way that invites ‘security.’ This focus is mostly on making one’s life situation more comfortable and pleasant. This is fine so long as it is founded on the ground of being and not on the do-do of your life situation.  You ground yourself in the Timeless and then you can have the time of your life.

To live a great life is to live a great question. The greatest question is, “ Who AM I?”  Begin to live your life as a question that when answered opens up to you the unending journey into Love.  This can be a line from a poem, a song or a story.  This line has to speak to you from your sensitive heart and you have to be willing to drop the armor that surrounds your heart.  You have to be prepared to listen to the still voice within you that is unique to you.

Wherever such a line comes from allow your heart to become sensitive to its invitation.  Let it be an invitation to the eternal.  Let it be something like, "Let the beauty that you are be the work that you do."  Such a line can be the invitation to a life of unending questing.  This is not something to be afraid off.  In living such a quest you become attuned with the infinite.  There is no better tune to have play through you.

In this way you get to allow the universal song to play through you and you really can learn to holiday (meaning to spend holy days) in the Land to Tir na Nog - the land of the forever young sensitive heart.
