Radiant Poetry " What if you slept, And what if, in your sleep you dreamed? And what if, in your dream, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if, when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? What then?"
Merlin to Arthur The Way of the Wizard
RADIANT SONG Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me. I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to. Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me. In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you. Though I know that evening's empire has returned to sand. Vanished from my hand. Left me blindly here to stand but still not sleeping. My weariness amazes me, I'm branded on my feet. I have no one to meet And the ancient empty sheets too dead for dreaming. Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me. I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to. Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me. In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you. "Mr Tambourine Man" Bob Dylan

Fairy Tales: A Magical Way of Having the Life
You Want To Live As a storyteller I love fairy stories and wonder tales. I love old stories and I new ones. One of my favorite stories is about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Tables and their quest for the Holy Grail. I especially love the story of the magician and seer Merlin. A modern rendition of this tale is told in one of this storyteller’s favorite books. Is written by a modern magician and seer named Deepak Chopra. He has written a wonderful book entitled “The Way of the Wizard: Twenty Spiritual Lessons for Creative the life You Want.” This book, as its title suggests, invites lessons that you can live by. It is a bit like being at a school of real wizardry, which I can tell you is really exciting. Imagine that you were given the following exercise for homework. The
return to the magical can only happen with the return to innocence. Imagine that in order to create the life you want that you have to be able to live what that homework assignment asks of you. How would you begin to answer this question in such a way that you invite the wisdom (wise one) voice within you? First, you start with intention. Do you intend to express that which is magical within you? Often at this point the other voices arrive. This may be the voice of the cynic. There is the voice of the doubter. Then there is no voice at all. And there is the voice that is afraid. None of these voices are magical. To begin with the wisdom voice has not much passion within it. After all, you have been taught that real authority is outside you in the voices of your parents, your teachers, your religious hierarchies, your cultural mores. All this is known and it is in no sense truly who you are. To return to the magical begins with intention and then you move into innocence. You move into silent waiting for ‘Ah ha!’ moments. You wait with full attention but your attention is relaxed. It is receptive rather than grasping. This desire is not something that you make but allow to be fulfilled through you. You become womb like. You are ready for magic to be born within you. Innocence refers to letting go of definitions of how it should be. Innocence allows Love to create through you the purpose it created YOU to create. Innocence means willingness to surrender your ego desires for the unlimited, undefined flow of creation through you. This is why you are here. You are here to be a servant of Love in action, the creative force of universal intelligence. Those who have learned the lesson will tell you there is nothing more magical. This is real learning in the sense it is wisdom learning as opposed to logic chopping. Wisdom feels holistic. It feels like a magical gift that you are given to share with others. It is light and gives delight unless you begin to try and own it. Then innocence is lost and the magic is lost as well. A storyteller, bard or séanachie lives the lesson of the wizard and is trained to allow and invite the wisdom voice from within them. They are then interested only in spreading pieces of magic all around that you can pick up and put in your pocket. This invites you to realize the magic that is already awaiting your return. © Tony Cuckson 2008 THE ANAMCARA INVITATION The invitation to Soul Friendship is always available.
